Literature Text
If I tied you to a tree
Told you to stay if you love me
Would I some day return to see
Your skeleton still there for me
Or would you be like everybody
And just abandon me?
If I beat you, almost to death
But then nursed you back to health
Would you love me like your breath
Or view me as the theft to your soul wealth?
If I tied you to a tree
Begged you to never leave me
Would you still try to get free
Never wanting to be near me
Or would you wait and see
If you're the one for me?
If I broke your bones,
Struck you with stones,
Then left you alone,
Would your heart still be my home?
If I tied you to a tree
Commanded you to wait for me
Would you stay obediently
Existing only for me
Or would you become a nobody
And be forgotten by me?
Told you to stay if you love me
Would I some day return to see
Your skeleton still there for me
Or would you be like everybody
And just abandon me?
If I beat you, almost to death

I Give a Damn
I give a damn
That there is still discrimination against love.
I give a damn
That students all over the world are bullied for their sexual orientation.
I give a damn
That when the time comes, I cannot sponsor my partner for citizenship.
I give a damn
That teens would rather commit suicide then face the pain brought on by their loved
ones.
I give a damn
That some parents would throw their kids out of the house, just for being gay.
I give a damn,
Because homosexuality is not a choice, and every individual de

Happy
You looked. I glanced. We met. I smiled. You smiled back. A sentence here. A metaphor there. A memory we both found beyond repair. I shared. You listened. You shared. I heard. You paused. And then I kissed you.
We're happy.
Fingers pressed skin. Then danced apart. I teased. You laughed. You joked. I grinned. Stairwells were dreamcatchers. Stars were destinies. Guitars became epiphanies. More words. More memories. More to admit. More to regret. You were damaged. I was broken.
We're happy.
You stopped smiling. I didn't laugh. Words began to go unspoken. Regrets emerged. Fingers didn't touch. Lips faltered. Stairwells were nightmare holders.

I tried
I tried to count my scars,
But I couldn't tell
Where one began
And another ended.
So I tried to count the cuts,
But I couldn't, because
Blood smeared across my skin,
Connecting them like a thin,
Red veil of pain.
And so I cried.
I cried a single tear, because
When I need to cry,
I can't.
Finally, I sat down,
And put pen to paper,
Or fingers to keys.
And tried to write my emotions.
But I couldn't, because
I don't know how to tell the world
What I feel like,
When I have no right.
I looked from the blood stained tissues,
Across my torn body,
Into my own eyes, reflected perfectly by the mirror before me.
Another tear was p

Promise me,
You'll never leave
And make me
Actually believe
Swear that
You'll always be near
Make me feel that
I can count on you to be here
Hin, be afraid. Be very afraid.
Actually, I kid, but for the girl that gets my heart, you've got quite a mess that goes along with it. :3
Or maybe not. This was, after all, inspired by ~SockyTM's/Merlin's Conrad.
Sorry Socky, Merlin refused to let me say that Conrad belongs to anyone but him. xD
