Green eyes
Imagine my surprise
Waking up in bed
To see the forest

Pink lips
Nobody could resist
Least of all me
And you, so I see

Crimson hair
Yes, even there
She was like fire
Or maybe just desire

She had the looks
From her hips to her face
She had the motion
That undeniable grace
She had the smarts
It was her race

So why did she lose?
Why is she so loose?
Doesn't she realize
To be with her, many men would die?

No, I guess not
She fell with a cry of
"Get it while its hot."
And they bought

Vacant eyes
She can't see the sky
Only the earth above her
And the wood that cradles her

Broken lips
It is painful to see them split
But she says they don't hurt
For what that's worth

Ragged hair
Styled like she doesn't care
For some reason, I think she does
